The Elite Widows Foundation is a registered, non-profit, and non-partisan organisation dedicated to supporting widows, widowers, and the less privileged through empowerment, education, and compassionate community care. The foundation was birthed out of a deep passion to restore hope, dignity, and purpose to those who have lost their spouses, while creating opportunities for them to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.
Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria, the foundation operates from its headquarters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, with outreach programs extending to local and rural communities across the state and beyond.
Our core focus areas include skill acquisition and empowerment programs, educational support for children of widows/widowers, counselling and mentorship, and the distribution of palliative and relief materials to vulnerable individuals—especially during festive seasons. Through these initiatives, we strive to build confidence, promote self-reliance, and foster a strong sense of belonging among those we serve.
Our mission is to uplift widows and disadvantaged individuals through empowerment, education, and compassionate service.
Our vision is to create a society where vulnerable individuals can live with dignity, independence, and renewed hope.
